Booking online was super easy, which already put me in a good mood before we even got there. The ride was really enjoyable in that calm, slow-paced way where you can just sit back, breathe a little, and take in the views the whole time.
The staff were friendly and kept everything moving smoothly without making us feel rushed. It did get a bit chilly at the top, so I’d definitely bring a jacket, but we left feeling happy and relaxed and would totally do it again

I’ll be honest, the mountain views were genuinely beautiful, and I’m not saying the trip was bad or anything. That was definitely the highlight for me. I got some really nice photos and it was peaceful at times just sitting there and taking it all in. But personally, I did feel like it was a little overpriced for what it was, and it was more crowded than I expected. Maybe that doesn’t bother everyone, and fair enough, but it took away from the experience a bit for me. I’m glad I went and saw it once, I just don’t think I’d be in a hurry to go back.

Booked through cograilway the whole thing felt safe enough. The info on the site was easy to understand, so I wasn’t really stressed before the trip or anything. The train left close to the scheduled time, maybe just a few minutes late, but not enough to be a problem. The staff seemed like they knew what they were doing, and the ride itself was smooth. I really loved the narration, it just made everything feel more interesting. And the views, they were crazy good. I kept getting distracted just looking around, but in the best way. It was one of those experiences where the scenery kind of steals the show, but the narration still keeps you pulled in

They had a good mix of shirts, mugs, little train-themed items, and Colorado souvenirs without the place feeling too packed or overwhelming. The cashier was friendly too and helped me find the right size quickly. Prices were about what I expected for a tourist spot. I ended up leaving with a hoodie and a few postcards, so no complaints from me.

I’ll admit, I made a quick judgment before going and thought the altitude was going to be a problem. Turns out, I was totally wrong. The train climbs so steadily that my body had time to adjust, and it never felt like I was being shot up a mountain or anything. The ride itself was way smoother than I expected too. No rough shaking, no weird bumps, just an easy, slow ride where I could sit back and enjoy the view. Easy 5 stars from me.

The bathrooms were clean and the snacks were decent, I’ll give them that. But it was so packed up there that it got annoying fast. Whoever’s in charge really needs to manage the crowd better, because it felt like they just let too many people in and left everyone to deal with it.
